We visited the Harpenden Hedgehog Sanctuary to find out more about their work. This hoglet was in intensive care but well on the road to recovery. The sanctuary looks after hedgehogs of all ages who are ill or injured and returns them to health before returning them to the wild. This hoglet had lost its mother and would have died but for the ICU ward at the sanctuary. It was almost ready to be rewilded. We were pleased to support their work with a donation.
